Gyeongji Nam
My journey began in a small room in Seoul, South Korea, where I lived alone in my 20s. I documented life in that cramped space, and that story turned into my first book, What Do You Do in a Small Room? Instead of waiting for a publisher, I created my own. I learned cover design, typesetting, printing, marketing, and e-book adaptation, diving into every aspect of the publishing process.
That experience shaped my career as a designer. I’ve designed over 100 books and also worked on graphic design and branding, helping businesses tell their stories through visual identity.
Now, I’m in Canada studying graphic design, merging the aesthetics of two cultures. I bring a deep understanding of publishing, branding, and design, both as a designer and storyteller.
