Gyeongji Nam
The first book I ever designed was mine.
I was living alone in a tiny apartment in Seoul. The kind of place that makes you either write or lose your mind.
I wrote. Then I published. And since no one else was going to do it for me, I became the publisher too. I taught myself everything—cover design, layout, printing, marketing, digital formats. One by one. That one cramped space became the start of something bigger.
Since then, I’ve designed over 100 books, built visual identities for others, and turned ideas into things people can hold.
These days I’m in Toronto, studying graphic design and blending cultures, stories, and styles.
I still believe that small spaces can hold big ideas... And still live in a small room, again.
